Quarry Bay - Nelson Island
Just north of Pender Harbour, Quarry Bay is named after the quarry on Nelson Island where much of the granite for the iconic stone walls (that one can see upon arrival in the domestic terminal at YVR) in Vancouver was found. Texada Island is in the distance.
