Monica Burrow

Monica Burrow is primarily a landscape painter who works in acrylic on canvas or cradled wood panel. Born in Vancouver BC, she has spent time exploring throughout the local mountains, BC, the Yukon, the western US looking at the subtleties of, and the variety in the natural landscape.

Her work shows an attraction to colour and composition. The outdoors is a source of endless inspiration.

Monica is drawn to the play of light over the land, the formations of clouds and weather systems, and rich colour - either actual or imagined often attracts her to paint a subject.

Monica Burrow has been making art for 25 years. Her education began with a BHe at UBC and her best loved courses were those around creativity and design.

Mostly self taught she has taken several workshops over the last 25 years. She belongs to the South Delta Artists' Guild. She currently shows in several galleries in south western BC.
