In 2021 this view was protected forever from development when the owners waited until the community was able to raise the money to buy the part across the water, to keep it from being subdivided and developed. Cable Bay was used by the First Peoples of Galiano as a place to gather food but also a place to wait for the right weather to make the crossing to the Vancouver side of the Salish Sea.
6" x 6" Acrylic on Deep Canvas SOLD by Art and Soul Craft Gallery Galiano Island.
