While the popular name for this lovely bay in a park on the Sunshine Coast is Sergeant Bay, K'eximemen in the Shishalh language is the true name. It refers to a medicinal plant that grows here and in a few other areas. The clouds billowing, the old weathered tree, the blackberries and shoreline thickets where birds can hide and the Trail Islands in the distance are quintessential Sunshine Coast elements.
