Harvest Time - Westham Island

A beautiful October day with the plein air group I paint with just south of Vancouver. Busloads of school children visiting the Westham Island Herb Farm, and so I was off to the edge of a golden field of stubble to get the feel without being in the fray. The children's squeals of delight, and the rooster taking care of his territory carried to me on the breeze.
