This quirky swing bridge with it's distinctive green blue paint is a familiar landmark for many in the Ladner community south of Vancouver. It has a peculiar shape on each end as the bridge widens to accommodate traffic waiting for the one lane mid section to be free. This view of it is well known to locals or visitors as they return home from the bird refuge, the strawberry patch or the pumpkin patch.
