The Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver has led to home at times in my life. It led to my family summer camp for a while as a child. It was the way to get to Vancouver Island, and the mountains. Crossing that bridge began my earlier life as a skier and led to meeting my husband. Now one of my children lives across that bridge. The promise of fresh snow and being close to the mountains in nature, is always exciting. This morning there was no traffic and we had the bridge to ourselves as I was able to appreciate the lines that form the bridge.
